👋 Neighbourhood Cards

This article mainly goes out to those who are doing domestic work, large or small.

I've been discussing with the Marketing team at Saint Global about quick, simple, cheap methods of winning work, maybe for someone who is just getting into the trade with their own business.

Neighbourhood cards was the answer! A simple marketing approach that has proven highly effective time and time again.

We challenge our clients when they are working on a job or have completed a job that they go 5 neighbours to the left, 5 neighbours to the right, and the exact same on the other side dishing out their neighbourhood cards. These cards don't have to be anything fancy, they can have your details, a few nice pictures and that's it! Could even be a leaflet or a business card.

Where we like to take it one step further is by proving that we are a trustworthy and approachable contractor who are confident and proud of their workmanship in the local areas. We include a section on our neighbourhood cards where we say who we have recently done work for within the area. For example:

We have recently completed electrical work with "Sarah at Number 9" and we thought we would just drop by and say Hi

Through this simple short message, you have showed you are real, you have completed work for someone people (most likely) know and that builds a tremendous amount of trust!

These people may even discuss among themselves about your services and there is no stronger marketing than word of mouth.
